Parenting Epiphanies
Hi, I’m Natasha — I'm a mother of four, and somewhere between chauffeuring kids to their endless after-school activities, supervising sibling negotiations, and turning up at school events where I was dressed entirely wrong, I started noticing how much of parenting is just defaulting to what is considered "the norm."
Throughout my parenting journey, I've become more confident in trusting my instincts — sometimes that means going with the norm, other times against it.
But I've learned that having a community through it all has been a huge source of inspiration for me.
This is where I share the stories, the small epiphanies, and the moments I stopped doubting myself. If you've ever questioned a “parenting norm” and ended up questioning yourself instead, this space is for you.

Relatable stories and everyday epiphanies from a curious mom with plenty of questions.
When I had my oldest daughter in London, Gina Ford’s Contented Little Baby Book was the rulebook everyone was talking about. No eye contact after 10pm. Wake the baby at 7. Wait ten minutes before picking her up. I lasted about a minute on the first one, and then my daughter smiled at me, and I immediately failed the book (and was quite okay with that).
